Markilux 889
The attractive round cassette made from extruded aluminium is powder-coated, and when retracted the awning cover is protected from atmospheric influences by the fully encompassing cassette. The awning cover is guided along lateral strong aluminium guide tracks. A special tensioning system using a combined elastic and kevlar belt provides ideal cover tension when the awning is fully extended. If only partially extended the cover has a natural tendency to sag as a result of this design feature. Virtually invisible stainless steel wires prevent excessive sag in the cover. All components require minimal maintenance and are protected against corrosion.

The tracfix system ensures safe lateral fabric guidance and a neat, closed appearance, without the annoying gap between the cover and the guide tracks.
Choice of fabrics
Awning covers made from sunvas snc or sunsilk snc as well as the special fabric transolair, that allows you to look outside and enjoy pleasant shade at the same time.
Dimensions
The maximum width of the markilux 889 is 600 cm. The maximum width is 325 cm up to the maximum extension of 600 cm. The maximum width of the markilux 889 tracfix is 600 cm with a maximum extension of 400 cm at all widths.
Operation
The awning is fitted as standard with manual gearbox operation. An electric motor - either hardwired or with remote control - is available as an optional extra.
